In order to tackle our global challenges, The United Nations has identified 8 Millennium Development goals that aim to restore and regenerate our human and ecological environment.



For long, the responsible for this job has been the public sector and NGOs, but in recent years the private sector CSR-investments has played an important role in addressing these issues.



However, Corporate Social Responsibility and "Green washing" are becoming synonyms, where it is more about what image you communicate rather than what you actually DO.



We believe that by combining the communicative power of documentary film with concrete project proposals, we can drive transparent CSR-investments where it is needed the most.



We want to build up a platform that makes it easy for companies to do well and engage where it matters, and simultaneously enjoy the communicative benefits of an efficient CSR-investment that actually makes a difference.

We want to produce film that goes further than awareness, and turn the passive role of spectators into an active audience with an immediate choice to engage in change that matters.



By mobilizing the voices of many, and building up movements with high PR-value, we aim to attract CSR-investments to projects that contribute to a better world.

How it Works

With ProjectPromoter, we want to explore how both the process and the product of motion picture can become a tool to boost development projects and use it actively to enhance all stages of a project:

Process



1. Identify suitable challenge - Presenting a validated challenge


In this phase we collaborate with global NGOs to identify and present a challenge in need of attention and action!


2. Film production - Illuminating the challenge and finding the key


On-site, we combine the skills of a documentary film-maker with that of a project leader, and use participatory engagement methods to engage local and global stakeholders in the development of a possible solution.
Simultaneously, we produce film-material for a documentary as-well as for "live-reports" used in the "online movement campaign".


3. Online movement campaign - This is where you come into the picture!


Upon arrival "on-site", we invite the world to join us and create as much awareness around the issue at hand. The more powerful this movement becomes, the larger is the probability for attracting CSR-investments to the project.
In this phase, both companies and people engaged in the movement has the possibility to contribute to the project. For every like that is gained, we seek companies that will match that amount with €.


4. Match-making - The power to change


We offer global companies and industry organization the chance to contribute with both finance and knowhow. Iin return, they get a lot of good will and a possibility to engage actively in a development project together with other industry actors, making life better for both employees, costumers and the world!
Already before production, we aim to have assembled a ThinkTank consisting of different industry relevant CSR-companies who are encouraged to support the project. 


5. Implementation - Making it happen


This is were things are starting to move, having financed the project proposal.

In this phase a number of actors will be involved in the project group that will work to implement the solution.



6. Evaluation - Showing the impact


The last part of our job is to make a follow up documentary to illuminated the social, environmental and economical impact of the complete project.



7. Finance


We work with a  co-financing "grant" where funds are allocated in different ways for all the stages.



A total project cost of approximately 200 000 €, will be financed with crowd sourcing, CSR-investments and seed-funding.
